The previously launched phones in the series like GT Master Edition and GT Neo 2 sold a good number of devices in India. But nobody knows why did Realme discontinue this series in India.
But, it seems your wait is over now because according to some leaks, GT series is about to do its return soon.
How many phones are launching?
Currently, there are three smartphones in the series that are selling in China. Realme GT 5 Pro, Realme GT 5 and Realme GT Neo 5.
The GT 5 pro has following specs –
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Processor.
- 6.78-inches 144Hz LTPO Amoled display.
- 50MP main + 50MP Periscope + 8MP ultra-wide rear camera setup.
- 32MP selfie camera.
- 5400 mAh battery with 100W charging support.
But according to the leaks, this smartphone will stay China exclusive and will not launch in India.
There are high chances that GT 5 might launch and GT Neo 5 may come to India with the name Realme GT Neo 6. Here are the key specs of GT 5 –
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
- 6.74-inches 144Hz Amoled display.
- 50MP main (OIS) + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP Macro.
- 16MP selfie camera.
- 5240 mAh battery with 150W and 240W charging support.
Here are the specs of GT Neo 5 –
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
- 6.74-inches 144Hz Amoled display.
- 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup.
- 16MP selfie camera.
- 5000 mAh battery with 150W charging support.
Expected Launch Date
A famous tipster tweeted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Realme will launch the GT series in India in H2 (July maybe).

Expected Price of Realme GT Series
The GT 5 Pro was priced at 3,399 Yuan (around ₹39,900) for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant, 3,999 Yuan (around ₹46,900) for the 16GB RAM/512GB storage variant and 4,299 Yuan (around ₹50,400) for the 16GB RAM/1TB storage variant in China.
This phone is most probably not coming to India.
The 150W variant of Realme GT 5 that packs 12GB RAM and 256GB storage was priced at 2999 yuan (nearly Rs 35,000).
Meanwhile, the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version of the 150W variant was launched with a price tag of 3299 yuan (nearly Rs 37,000) in China.
The 240W varient of Realme GT 5 was launched in only single variant – 24GB RAM + 1TB storage and it was priced at 3799 Yuan (nearly INR 43,000).
The Realme GT Neo 5 was priced at 2499 Yuan (nearly INR 29000) for 8GB + 256GB variant, 2699 Yuan (nearly INR 31000) for 12GB + 256GB and 2899 Yuan (nearly INR 33500) for 16GB + 256GB variant.
The 150W variant of this phone might come to India and we can expect the price to be 3-4k higher than the Chinese pricing.
