OPPO Reno 12 Series with Powerful AI Features – A Quick Overview

The global smartphone brand, Oppo on Friday added to its Reno series by introducing Reno 12 5G and Reno 12 Pro 5G in the Indian market. Some of the new features in the Reno 12 series are; this incorporates Google’s Gemini Ultra that consists of AI writer, AI summary, and AI speak for better productivity.

Both smartphones run on ColorOS 14.1, based on Android 14. Oppo has committed to providing three years of OS updates and four years of security updates, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and security enhancements.

The Reno 12 Pro 5G has an exquisite camera department with a 50-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel telephoto lens and 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Reno 12 5G costs ₹32,999 comes with 8GB ram and internal storage of 256GB. The Reno 12 Pro 5G is set to be unveiled from July 18 while the Reno 12 5G will be from July 25 through Oppo e-Store, Flipkart, and other mainline electronic stores.

OPPO Reno 12 Series Verdict

OPPO Reno 12 series is heavily overpriced. The hardware of rear camera is very poor so does the tuning. There are many good options in the market and you should consider other available options from OnePlus, iQOO, realme and Nothing.
