Realme is gearing up for the unveiling of its much-anticipated Realme 12 Pro 5G series in India later this month. The series, set to succeed the Realme 11 Pro lineup, is expected to introduce the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ models.
In an official press statement, the company confirmed that the launch event will take place on January 29 at 12pm IST. The lineup is set to showcase innovative features, with one of the handsets boasting a periscope telephoto camera, likely belonging to the Pro+ variant.

The base Realme 12 Pro is expected to include a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Pro+ variant boasts an OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto shooter supporting 3x optical zoom, up to 6x lossless zoom, and an impressive 120x digital zoom. For selfies, the Realme 12 Pro and Pro+ are likely to feature 16-megapixel and 32-megapixel sensors, respectively.
Snapdragon Processors and Fast Charging
Under the hood, the base model could be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the Pro+ variant may carry a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Both models are expected to pack 5,000mAh batteries with 67W wired fast charging support.
Display Technology
Display-wise, the Realme 12 Pro handsets are set to impress with 6.7-inch curved-edge full-HD+ AMOLED panels boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. Running on Android 14-based Realme UI 5, these devices will also feature in-display fingerprint sensors.
