Apple has entered further into the smart home tech market with the new Apple HomeView, LG partnership, and HomePod surround sound setup.
Apple HomeView
The main focus of the Apple Smart Home is its $299 Dedicated Smart Hub, designed to serve as the centre for connected households. The Smart Hub does not feature an Apple Store. Apple is prioritizing Utility, reliability, and security, with a mainline interface and a curated suite of Apple’s own apps. Main features include voice via Siri and rapid touch control widgets for accessories, security feeds, or automations.
Apple HomeView comes with a Standard A18 and delivers Apple Intelligence on device capabilities directly to the kitchen counter or bedside table, or wherever you keep the device.

Other devices in Apple Smart Home
Other than the Apple HomeView, Apple also launched an Apple TV 4K with a Standard A19 chipset compared to the A15 Bionic of the predecessor. That is a big four-generation jump, preparing the set-top box for high-performance video processing or any other use.
HomePod mini features an S10 Chipset, while the predecessor version runs on an S5 Chipset, which’s a 5-generation leap in the SiP (System in a Chip), significantly improving local Siri recognition, latency, and room sensing audio computation.

Instead of more third-party certification processes, Apple has now formally launched Apple Home Collection as a direct partnership with leading industry players LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. The new hardware portfolio, engineered from the ground up to incorporate the privacy, simplicity, and zero-configuration pairing of the iPhone, includes:
Smart Security Cameras: video footage stored with end-to-end encryption; Smart Thermostats for dynamic room temperature programming; and Connected Smart Door Locks with seamless Home Key and proximity unlock.

Apple has also unlocked long requested features for home theatre enthusiasts:
Quad HomePod Surround Sound: Apple TV 4K (4th gen) can be set up with a focused 4-speaker surround sound system. Two matching pairs can be set up-front left and right, back left and right-using 2 full-sized (second gen) HomePods or 2 2nd gen HomePod minis. Whole Room Audio (Party Mode): Smart multi-room group streaming now synchronises the audio lag with one tap across an entire floor or a house.
