Samsung has officially begun the One UI 8 stable rollout for the Galaxy S24 series and Z Fold/Flip 6 in Korea. Also, the FE variant of the Galaxy S24, that is, the Galaxy S24 FE, received the One UI 8 stable update in Korea. Last week, Samsung released the One UI 8 Stable Update for the Galaxy S25 Series. The rollout of One UI 8 is going on much faster than One UI 7.
Surprisingly, the midrange Galaxy A56 also started receiving the One UI 8 Stable Update. Remember that the rollout has begun in Korea as of now. Other regions are expected to receive the update soon.
Galaxy S24 Series
The entire Galaxy S24 Series received the One UI 8 stable update in Korea. All the S24 Series models, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, received the update. All of these devices were the Samsung flagships of the year 2024.
The One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S24 has a build info of S921NKSU9CYI5/ S921NOKR9CYI5/ S921NKSU9CYI3. It has the September 2025 security patch and is based on Android 16.
The Galaxy S24 FE also received the update. It also has the September 2025 security patch and is based on Android 16. The build info is S721NKSU6CYI6/ S721NOKR6CYI6/ S721NKSU6CYI3.
It is showing Android 15 on both sides because of a bug in the the Checkfirm app. For the rest, all the information is correct.
Galaxy A56
It was not expected, but One UI 8 for the Galaxy A56 was also released today, at least in Korea. The Galaxy A56 received the Android 16 update with the September 2025 security patch. It has a build info of A566SKSU2BYI5/ A566SSKC2BYI5/A566SKSU2BYI5.
Galaxy Z Fold6 & Z Flip6
Lastly, the 2024 foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold6 & Flip6,, also received the preference for giving the One UI 8 update early, and they received it today. It has the September 2025 security patch like the others.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 has a build info of F956NKSU2CYI7/ F956NOKR2CYI7/ F956NKSU2CYHC. For the Galaxy Z Flip6, the build info is F741NKSU2CYI6/ F741NOKR2CYI6/ F741NKSU2CYHC.
Rollout timeline for India
Samsung has released the official One UI 8 timeline for Korea. Samsung India is yet to reveal their official rollout plan. Mostly, the Galaxy S24 Series, S24 FE, Z Fold6 & Z Flip6 should receive the One UI 8 update in India and Europe by the end of this week.
For the Galaxy A56, it’s difficult to tell whether Samsung India will release it or not. Also, the One UI 8 rollout timeline and months remain unclear for the M-Series and F-Series, at least as of now. The final decision, as always, depends on Samsung.
