Nothing plans to launch the Nothing Phone 3, a direct successor to the Phone 2, which was released in July 2023. The Phone 3 has been teased for a summer 2025 launch, but according to Nothing, it is set to launch in July 2025.

Design

The Phone 3 will feature a triple camera layout, which we will discuss later, in contrast to the Phone 2, which had a dual camera setup. Additionally, since the CEO has mentioned that this will be Nothing’s flagship model, the Phone 3 might use better materials for increased durability and strength.
Display
The phone might feature a big 6.7-inch display, according to the leaks, and a better panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate with LTPO for the adaptive refresh rate and 3000 or 4000 nits of peak brightness for more visibility while in the sunlight, and we expect the phone to get PWM dimming and many more features.
Performance
The performance POV is a lot improved compared to the last gen since Nothing and Snapdragon have an exclusive partnership for 3 years, and the last Nothing phone had Qualcomm’s chipset inside it. Since they have increased the price of the smartphone, we expect the phone to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset or the 8s Gen 4, resulting in a massive 2x leap in performance for the phone, and we expect a bigger cooling system to cool down the 8 Elite chipset, which Nothing has featured.
Camera
The cameras get a big boost, too, compared to the previous generation, Phone 2. According to the leaks, the Phone 3 will feature a telephoto camera with a better main camera, probably, and a larger ultrawide camera to improve the quality of the ultrawide shots. The telephoto camera might be a periscope, so we can expect the phone to get a bit larger in dimensions.
OS
The phone will come with the Nothing OS 3.0 pre-installed, along with Android 15 or possibly an upgraded version of Nothing OS 3.1 for the Phone 3 that includes more features. The phone is scheduled to receive three Android updates. That means the phone will have update support until Android 18 version and 6 years of security updates until 2031, so the phone is getting longer support. If Nothing updates the policy, it might offer longer support, possibly 4-5 major OS updates for the phone, given that the Phone 3a gets three Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
Battery
The battery life will get an improvement since nothing fits a larger 5000 mAh battery compared to the 4700 mAh battery that was spotted on the Nothing Phone 2. The battery life might be better thanks to the improvements made by the 8 Elite in efficiency vs. the 8 Gen 2 chip.
Pricing of Nothing Phone 3
Speaking about the price, Nothing CEO hinted at an 800 EUR price range for the smartphone, so we can expect this as the first full flagship phone with a lot of good materials and better cameras and performance on board, though for the Indian users it converts to around 80,000 INR, and i think Nothing might reduce the price.
