iQOO has launched their iQOO 15 Ultra in China, positioned as a mid-range flagship performance powerhouse with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and their own Q3 gaming chip, and a large battery, but it’s China-exclusive for now.

iQOO 15 Ultra is available in 16/256GB at ¥5699, 16/512GB at ¥5999, 16/1TB at ¥6999, and 24/1TB at ¥7699. It’s targeted for power users and gamers. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, 5 OS upgrades, and 7 years of security patches can be expected.
It has a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung AMOLED M14 8T LTPO flat display, with 144Hz refresh rate, 2600 nits peak brightness, and 508 PPI density. It’s rated for IP68/IP69 protection, it has a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, X-axis linear motor, IR blaster, dual stereo speakers, and pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers for gaming.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset based on 3nm manufacturing process, paired with a self-developed Q3 gaming chip, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 with LHDC 5.0, and has a Type-C port rated for USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer speeds and an active cooling fan for thermal management.
It’s a triple 50MP camera setup that includes a Sony IMX921 OIS main sensor (CIPA 4.5 stabilization), a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide, and a 50MP LYTIA LYT-600 3X OIS periscope telephoto for versatile captures. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera. This camera system might be tuned like vivo smartphones.
Large 7,400mAh battery powers the whole Phone, with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, for longer gaming and usage time.
The iQOO 15 Ultra is available for purchase in China through official iQOO online stores and partner retailers, with some limited-time launch offers or exchange bonuses.
