After a long five-year wait, OriginOS has finally launched in global markets, marking the end of Funtouch OS worldwide. OriginOS 6 represents a significant upgrade in comparison to Funtouch OS 15, which was previously used in vivo/iQOO devices, particularly in terms of design aspects.

The Flip cards make your lock screen look like a living canvas. Choose your favourite picture, tilt the phone, and the objects shift and come to life. This feature resembles a 3D wallpaper that shifts in angle and rotation based on how much the display is tilted, utilising the sensors on the phone.
Lock Screen Clock
The lock screen clocks get a new set of lock screen clocks which feature richer styles, mixable elements and customizable clock zones, marking a significant improvement over the older Funtouch OS 15.
Vivo Sans
OriginOS 6 features a new font called Vivo Sans, which draws inspiration from traditional typography and is specifically designed for digital displays. This font allows for continuous adjustments, enabling users to control stroke thickness along with its weight axis. It supports more than 40 system languages and covers over 300 language scripts. Additionally, Vivo Sans is available for free download.

High-load tasks are routed through dedicated high-speed lanes, keeping the system fluid and responsive even in the most complex scenarios. 5000 album photos loaded instantly, 106% faster.
As an industry-first innovation, dual rendering significantly increases rendering efficiency while reducing the power consumption, delivering ultra-smooth visuals throughout the system. The efficiency of dynamic effect rendering increases by 35%, and in heavy load scenarios, the stability of the dynamic effect frame rate increases by 11%.
Spring Animation
Recreating real-world physics, with soft bounce and dynamic feel, each motion, an open, fold, tap, or swipe, reacts like life-like elasticity. Interactions are smooth, polished, and fully engaging, injecting a feeling of life into the system.
Morphing Animation
Water droplets merge and separate, rippling with natural tension. They bring a similar fluidity into morphing animations that feel smooth and vividly alive, which is great, as we are receiving excellent animations.
Blur Transition
Following the eye’s natural focus when new elements appear, the system mirrors the way your eyes shift focus. The foreground remains sharp while the background softens in real time, creating a visual depth that feels natural.
Seamless Interaction
Our touch comes first. Animations pause the next second we swipe or tap, keeping actions immediate and transitions smooth. Even when you launch 30 apps back-to-back, the performance stays lightning fast, which is a great thing.
