Dual Chip Architecture
It features a dual-chip architecture with both Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 and BES2800, which are beneficial for low-power and long battery life tasks.
Design
Xiaomi Watch 5 comes with a lightweight and durable TC4 Titanium metal chassis. It also comes with a 47mm dial diameter, a 3D-printed Titanium metal strap, genuine leather, and a Fluoroelastomer (rubber). Additionally, it will also have a double-sided Sapphire Glass for more durability or protection.
Software
This Watch will be running Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 out of the box, with their own App Store with more than 70 compatible apps. It will come combined with more than 80 training classes, 3D animated classes, and automatic rep counting.
Battery
Xiaomi Watch 5 is powered by a 930mAh battery, which is advertised to give up to 6 days of battery life, and up to 18 days of battery life with power saving mode. This watch is said to be equipped with a gesture control centre for TV, tablets, phones, and smart home devices.
Connectivity
In terms of connectivity, it will support standalone Calling and Texting, with Standalone WeChat, Alipay, and online music streaming for Chinese users.
It will have an Electromyography (EMG) sensor for tracking micro-muscle signals and precise motion recognition. It will also have a 30-second rapid collection with generated ECG reports.
