As you all know, the new flagship launch season is here, and brands have already started teasing their new flagships. With the launch of Snapdragon 8 Elite the previous day, we have more of an idea of devices launching with Snapdragon 8 Elite, and Realme is one of them.

The brand new Realme GT 7 Pro is one of the first flagships to launch in India and most of the specifications are already out. Is it a complete package or are there any compromises? Let’s find out!

Realme GT 7 Pro

Display

The realme GT 7 Pro features a bright 8T LTPO Eco OLED plus micro quad curved display from Qualcomm with 120% DCI-P3 color gamut and global maximum brightness of 2000 nits, as well as Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

Performance

As mentioned earlier, the Realme GT 7 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the latest and greatest from Qualcomm. It is expected to be a beast in performance with over 3 million Antutu score and a ton of AI features.

Snapdragon 8 elite

Based on the second generation TSMC 3nm N3E node, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is a huge bump up from the previous generation, that is 8 Gen 3. It is also expected to go up to 16GB RAM and 1TB Storage in the highest variant

Battery and Charging

The realme GT 7 Pro is expected to have a massive 6500mAh battery, thanks to the new silicon-carbon battery technology with 120W SuperVOOC charging. This is the most killer battery specifications for any smartphone till date.

Realme GT7 Pro

This massive battery of realme GT 7 Pro is expected to give about two days of battery life which is crazy for a smartphone. This will also help to manage the battery requirement of Snapdragon 8 Elite which is a bit more power consuming than 8 Gen 3.

Cameras

The realme GT 7 Pro is expected to feature a triple camera setup. Even though the exact specifications are rather unknown, it’ll have a 50MP Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50MP Sony LYTIA Ultrawide, and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 3x periscope which can go up to 120x zoom.

Realme GT7 Pro

The camera system on realme GT 7 Pro is the best ever in any Realme phone yet and is crazy good for the expected price considering the price bumps expected from various brands. Along with AI features which we will get into in a bit, the cameras of GT 7 Pro are phenomenal.

AI Features

In the new “AI in smartphone era”, realme is also catching up with other brands in providing AI features. First started on with the realme 13 Pro+, GT7 Pro adds on various other ai elements which are really great to work with. These include AI image unblur, image expansion, note summarisation, video summarisation, etc.

Ai features

All these features is also expected to rollout to other Realme smartphones too via the RealmeUI 6.0 update which was launched the previous day.

Other features

The realme GT 7 Pro also covers on pretty much every flagship feature you expect including flagship grade stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, face unlock, an LTPO screen, metal frame and it is also expected to support wireless charging.

Pricing

The realme GT 7 Pro will launch on November 4th in China and will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite phone to launch in India by the first week of December. The price of the base variant is expected to be between INR 65,000 and 70,000.

Realme GT7 Pro

The phone will launch in three colours: White, Orange (Mars Edition), and a special Titanium version. The design of a square camera module with triple cameras looks a bit cheap for a flagship phone, especially with the titanium version.
