Motorola Edge 70 Max has launched in India, basically a Lenovo Legion Y70 rebrand, with a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ pOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 3168×1440p, support for 144Hz refresh rate and up to 7000nits of brightness.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also has a 5,500 mm² vapour chamber for better thermals.
It also features a large 7,100mAh battery, supporting 90W wired fast charging and 25W magnetic wireless charging.

Coming to the camera system, on the front is a 32MP sensor, with 4k video recording support. On the back is a 50MP Sony LYT-710 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide angle.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max runs Android 16 (Hello UX) out of the box, with support for 3 Android OS upgrades alongside 5 yrs of security updates.
Additionally, it has an In-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers with support for Dolby Atmos audio output, and it also comes with a Qira AI button (similar to the Action button on the iPhone, which is ONLY available on the top 12/256 variant).
Connectivity includes a Dual SIM slot, 5G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 6.0, and a USB-C port. It’s protected with Gorilla Glass 7i glass protection and IP68/69 dust and water resistance rating.
