Motorola has announced the Motorola Edge 60 Pro in India as the successor to the Edge 50 Pro from last year. Here’s a look at its specifications, features, pricing, and sale.
Design & Build
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has the same Motorola design we have seen from the company for a while now. It is IP68/IP69 rated and comes in three color options: Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Sparkling Grape, and Pantone Shadow. The phone is MIL-STD-810H certified.
The phone supports NFC. It has an AI key on the side. The phone has a dual physical SIM slot.

Display
The Moto Edge 60 Pro has a bigger display compared to its Edge 50 Pro. A 6.7-inch Super HD quad curved pOLED display, with a resolution of 1.5K and supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Performance
Motorola Edge 50 Pro came with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The new Edge 60 Pro comes with Dimensity 8350 Extreme and Mali G615 MC6 GPU. Dimensity 8350 Extreme gives better performance compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
Moto Edge 60 Pro only comes in two variants. There is no 512GB storage variant of the phone this year.
Edge 60 Pro comes with 8/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, compared to UFS 3.1 on Edge 50.
Motorola has also upgraded the cooling system on the Edge 60 Pro, which should give better thermal performance and efficiency.
Cameras
Motorola Edge 60 Pro comes with an upgraded rear camera setup compared to the Edge 50 Pro from last year, but the selfie camera is the same. It features a 50MP Sony LYT700C with OIS. The ultrawide camera also features a 50MP sensor.
The telephoto camera has a 10MP sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The selfie camera is a 50MP lens. Edge 60 Pro records video up to 4K 60fps from the back camera, and 4K 30fps from the selfie camera, and slow motion at 1080P 120fps.

Battery & Charging
Motorola Edge 60 Pro comes with a 6,000mAh battery, supporting up to 90W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. It also comes with a USB 2.0 Type-C port. The Edge 50 Pro had 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, but the Edge 60 Pro only has 90W wired charging and 15W wireless charging compared to the Edge 50 Pro.
Software
Motorola Edge 60 Pro runs Android 15 out of the box, and Motorola promised three years of OS updates and four years of security updates. Edge 60 Pro supports features like Aqua Touch and anti-fingerprint coating.
Audio
Edge 60 Pro has dual stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos. It supports high-resolution audio codecs for better high-bitrate audio playback.
Pricing in India
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is launched in two variants in India, which are priced as:
8/256GB storage: ₹29,999.
12/256GB storage: ₹33,999.
Currently, on the Motorola India website, it’s available for preorder, and official sale starts from May 7th with launch offers including discounts and EMI options available on Flipkart.

Conclusion
Motorola Edge 60 Pro comes with great performance, design, and battery life on specs. Dimensity 8350 Extreme is a very big upgrade from Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and UFS 4.0 storage too. The 6,000mAh battery with 90W charging is good, even if it’s slower than last year’s 125W. Good value at this price.
