Infinix GT 20 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ Flat AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate along with 2340Hz PWM dimming 1300nits of peak brightness support. Brand has decided to increase the refresh rate this time from 120Hz to 144Hz and this phone has a flat display because Infinix’s GT series targets gamers and Flat display is preferred by the gamers.
Build and Design
This phone will have a plastic back and a plastic frame with a small notification LEDs at the back which you can customise for different tasks. It’s 8.15mm thick and weighs 194g and it comes with IP54 dust and splash resistance rating.
Battery and Charging
Talking about the battery capacity, this phone will pack a 5000mAh battery inside and will be bundled with a 45W charger in the box.
Software
This phone will have the latest Android 14 with XOS 14 which is Infinix’s own user interface and this time, the brand is claiming that the device will have near stock experience.

It will come with a LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

This smartphone has a dual speaker setup which is tuned by JBL and it will have an x-axis linear vibration motor.

Infinix has decided to upgrade to MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor from Dimensity 8050 in its GT 10 Pro.
MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate is a rebranded version of the Dimensity 8200 which is an octa core chipset based on 4nm architecture. It’s clocked at 3.3 GHz and has 1 core Cortex A78 clocked at 3.1 GHz, 3 cores Cortex A78 clocked at 3 GHz and 4 cores Cortex A55 at 2 GHz. It has a Mali-G610 MP6 GPU.
On papers, this phone definitely looks like a performance beast as compared to most of the phones in its competition but we will have to wait till it launch to see how well Infinix has tuned this chipset. In the past, we have seen many such phones with very good chipsets for the price but many of them lacked proper optimisation which caused heating and jitters in day to day and heavy tasks even after being a powerful chipset.
Cameras
Infinix GT 20 Pro will have technically single usable camera of 108MP with OIS support bundled with two depth and macro lenses of 2MP resolution each.
Talking about the selfie camera, it will have 32MP selfie camera.
Extras
Talking about the other extra features, it will have a in-display fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, NFC and a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated gaming chip.
Expected Price
The previous version of this phone was launched under INR 20K and we expect it to launch for somewhere around 20-22K and if that turns out to be true then this can be the best phone for performance in that price range.

It is expected to launch soon in India and it has been already launched in some other countries like Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
