It comes with LPDDR5X for the RAM, which is available on the 12GB RAM variant, and the UFS 4.1 storage type. It comes with WildBoost optimisation, which brings stable frame rates, stable high brightness, maintains the high brightness, etc. Turbo 5 also comes with the 3D Ice-Loop cooling technology. The phone also comes with 100W of hypercharging, which is an excellent feature since it can top up the phone from 0 to 50% in 31 minutes and 100% in 70 minutes and also supports 27W of reverse charging via USB. The phone also features Surge P3 and G1 chips, where the P3 is the charging chip while the G1 handles your battery for optimum performance.

OS
The Redmi Turbo 5 comes with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 preinstalled out of the box, and the phone also comes with support for 4 major OS upgrades and 6 years of security upgrades, which is an excellent choice. It comes with lock screen personalisation and Hyper Island with Redmi Hyper AI and Hyper Connect for an ecosystem between Xiaomi and Apple devices. It also comes with a T1S tuner for signal tweaking and Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 7 support on the device.

The Redmi Turbo 5 is priced at INR 37,999 for the 8+256 variant and INR 40,999 for the 12+256 variant, and it comes with a 2k instant discount on major credit card banks like SBI, Axis, and ICICI, bringing the total cost down to 35,999 for the 8+256 variant and 38,999 for the 12+256 variant, which again is the best phone under 40k.
