Motorola has launched the Signature Series, a premium category from Motorola that offers consumers exceptional experiences after buying the phone, which is great for consumers.
Design

The Motorola Signature features an aircraft-grade aluminium frame with a twill-inspired finish to produce a sensorial, in-hand experience. The phone also features a triple camera setup on the back. While the design hasn’t changed much, it is a good-looking design on the back panel and is impressively slim at just 6.99 mm thick, weighing 186 grams. The device is available in two colours on the phone, which are Pantone Martini Olive and Pantone Carbon. While the Carbon has a linen finish, the Olive colour gets a twill-inspired finish. For the speakers, it comes with stereo speakers with Bose tuning and Dolby Atmos support. It comes with IP68/69 for dust and water resistance.
Display
The Motorola Signature features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 6,200 nits. It offers a 1.5K resolution and incorporates LTPO technology, allowing the refresh rate to drop to 1 Hz when the device is idle or during reading. The display is Pantone calibrated and Pantone validated for accurate colour reproduction. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 10-bit colour depth. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and meets MIL-STD-810H certification for enhanced durability. This combination ensures a premium visual experience for both entertainment and everyday use scenarios.
Performance

The Motorola Signature features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which is based on a 3 nm process. Motorola claims it is the first phone to feature a copper mesh and liquid metal cooling system. Thanks to the new improvements in the cooling system, the chip is 4.4 degrees cooler than previous models. Additionally, the device is equipped with a 6002 mm² vapour chamber cooling system, which is 20% faster than the previous generation. For storage and RAM, it utilises UFS 4.1 and LPDDR5X, the fastest RAM and storage types currently available, highlighting Motorola’s focus on the device’s performance. The 8 Gen 5 is 36% faster and 11% faster in GPU and 46% faster in NPU vs the 8 Gen 3.
Camera
The Motorola signature features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 100x digital zoom and 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 122-degree field of view. Additionally, it boasts a 50MP selfie camera. With its photo enhancement engine, the phone can deliver sharper and brighter images. Utilising the Google Photos app, users can easily edit their photos and remove unwanted subjects from the awesome pictures, and the phone can capture stunning portraits, which is a great feature considering the pricing. Furthermore, it supports Dolby Vision Recording, allowing users to capture video in up to 8K 30 fps in Dolby Vision formats and 4K 60 fps on the front camera.
Software
The Motorola signature comes pre-installed with Android 16 and it comes with seven years of OS upgrades and seven years of security upgrades, which is the best Motorola has ever given to a phone. Motorola is providing one of the best upgrade policies in the segment.
Battery
The Motorola Signature comes with a 5200 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola claims can last up to 28 hours of video streaming, which is excellent. It also features 90W turbo power, which should help the phone charge fast, and the phone also includes support for 50W wireless charging, so both wired and wireless charging are pretty good.
Pricing
The Motorola Signature is priced at 59,999 for the 12+256 variant and 16+512 at 64,999 and 69,999 for the 16+1 TB variant, and customers can get 5,000 instant cashback or up to a 7.5k exchange bonus on the phones, and users can also get Perplexity Pro for free for 6 months, and Motorola is offering their signature membership worth 20k for free, and the first service is complementary up to 6k off, and the signature membership includes travel, events, wine and dining, shopping, and much more.
