iQOO has announced its next performance powerhouse in India, iQOO 15R. It’s most probably a rebrand of China exclusive iQOO Z11 Turbo. They have listed the launch teaser page officially on Amazon, aiming to launch soon. It will have flagship-level hardware and also focus on flagship-level performance for gamers and power users.
Regarding expected specifications, it may feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat LTPS OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and paired with an Adreno 829 GPU. It will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box. It will also feature up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage
Coming to cameras, it’s rumoured to have a dual back camera setup with 200MP + 8MP back, and a 32MP selfie sensor on the front. The iQOO 15R is also said to have an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating.
The phone might have a metal frame with a glass back design. Back camera deco looks similar or too similar to Nothing’s Phone 2a’s camera deco.
