Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s smart upgrades in photography, videography, and charging Speeds have been revealed by @chunvn8888 on X (Previously Twitter), which gave detailed information on what to expect. Here’s a look at what to expect from the upcoming flagship.

Camera Setup
Starting with the Camera Hardware Spec Leaks, the Galaxy S26 Ultra largely uses the S25 Ultra’s setup, now with a new 3x telephoto sensor upgrade.
On the Back, Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Back Camera Setup has a 200MP HP2 main Camera, 50MP JN3 Ultra-wide Camera, the new 3x 12MP S5K3LD Telephoto camera, and a 50MP IMX854 5x Periscope Lens, and on the front is a 12MP IMX874 Selfie Sensor.
The new addition of a 3x telephoto sensor will improve mid-range zoom clarity and low-light consistency, while the hardware remains the same.
Imaging Enhancements
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra will improve the camera setup, improving AI-assisted features and user-friendly controls
The Default 24MP Mode will be the Standard for both regular and portrait shots for better balanced detailing and file size.
It apparently also has adaptive pixel processing, which combines multiple low-res frames into one high-resolution and noise-free image. Simply, it means that it will take a bunch of smaller and blurry pictures and will put them together to make one very clear and smooth image.
The S26 Ultra will also have a Focus Speed Slider for better control to allow users to adjust autofocus speed in both photo and video modes.
The Upcoming Flagship will also have HDR Options, making it able to turn on or off HDR10+, using standard HDR if preferred.
Video Capabilities
In terms of video capabilities, S26 Ultra’s New APV Video Codec allows for higher efficiency and quality.
HQ: ~1.5GB per minute
LQ: ~750MB per minute
There is no return of the 960fps super slow-motion in terms of Frame rates. Video maxes out at FHD 240fps and 4K 120fps, HD 240fps and 4K 120fps.
Battery Upgrades
With the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung is introducing a new PPS (Programmable Power Supply) Charging System or Solution for smart and faster PD Charging.
0–15%: 55W
15–70%: 70W peak
Above 70%: 45W
Compared to S25 Ultra, With Only PPS 2.0, which supports only up to 45W of Fast Charging and struggles to maintain the 45W Charging Speed, The Upcoming S26 Ultra with the PPS System Upgrade will have a major charging Speed improvement and better long-term battery health.
