Xiaomi had launched the REDMI K Pad in China Two Months Ago, and now Xiaomi Global has announced the Xiaomi Pad Mini as a rebranded version of the REDMI Pad K as its first flagship mini tablet worldwide. Its main aim is for on-the-go productivity.

It features an 8.8-inch 3K (3008 x 1880) crystal clear display with support for up to 165Hz refresh rate, 403 pixels per inch, and 700nit peak brightness for better visibility in all lighting conditions, with full DC Dimming and TÜV Rheinland-certified Low Blue Light. This display has a 16:10 aspect ratio

The Xiaomi Pad Mini also has dual stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res, Hi-Res Wireless Audio, and Dolby Atmos to deliver an immersive surround audio experience.
Coming to design, the Xiaomi Pad Mini measures 132.03 mm in width and weighs 326 grams and has a micro-arc middle frame and a metal unibody design. It has a SoC-centered design. The Pad Mini also has Dual Type-C ports on both short and long sides, with support for USB 3.2 Gen 1
Xiaomi HyperAI boosts productivity with AI tools like Writing, Speech Recognition, Interpreter, Art, and Calculator, as well as Google Gemini and Circle to Search integration.
The Compact Pad Mini is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ based on a 3 nm manufacturing process, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The Pad Mini has a large 7500 mAh battery with 67W wired HyperCharge support, and also has support for 18W wired reverse charging for charging TWS or other devices.
The Xiaomi Focus Pen improves user experience with low latency and high-pressure sensitivity similar to the Apple Pencil. It’s great for productivity and creativity. It also has a refined leather-like cover for better portability.
Xiaomi Pad Mini will be available in purple and grey colors. It comes in both 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB storage configurations, starting from $429.
Coming to cameras, on the back, the Pad Mini has a 1/3.06″ 13MP rear camera with support for 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30fps and 60fps, and 720p at 30fps video recording. On the front is a 1/4″ 8MP front camera
Coming to connectivity, the Pad Mini has support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
