Snapdragon 8 Elite Launched: Check Key Details and Initial Benchmarks

Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite on 21 October 2024.

The chipset is hugely promising and shows excellent performance. It boasts 4.32Ghz x2 cores and 3.53Ghz x6 cores, as well as the new Orion cores from Snapdragon X Elite. The CPU is equipped with 24MB of L2 cache, split into 12MB for prime cores and 12MB for Performance cores.

The SoC has the Adreno 830 GPU, which delivers 40% performance improvement and 36% faster ray tracing in applications. The GPU has 3 slices all at 1.1Ghz.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite is expected to power the Xiaomi 15 Series, realme GT 7 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Series.

It will also power the iQOO 13, OPPO Find X8 Ultra, VIVO X200 Ultra.
