The colors are jet black and icy blue, and navy, which look good.

The Galaxy S25 FE is the thinnest and lightest FE series phone, which is just 7.4 mm in thickness and 190 grams in weight. This is great since the phone also improves on the battery compared to the S24 FE, and the enhanced aluminium frame enhances the durability of the smartphone. It comes with Gorilla Glass Victus+ for the back panel protection, which makes the back panel more secure and IP68 for the water and dust resistance of the smartphone, and it comes in three colors: navy, jet black, white, and icy blue, which look great.

Display

The Galaxy S25 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, utilising a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. It includes a vision booster for improved visibility in sunlight. It also features the slimmest bezels to date, which is a great feature for a Samsung phone, and it comes with Gorilla Glass Victus+ for the display protection.

Performance

The Galaxy S25 FE comes with the same old Exynos 2400, which isn’t good in the performance department. Yes, it’s the cheapest S series in the S25 series, but if you can’t at least bring the Exynos 2500, which is looking to be better than the 2400 by 20%, then yeah, a better performance is the least you could do. The 2400 features Cortex X4, along with A725 and A520 cores. The Eclipse 940 is based on the RDNA 3 architecture. The GPU part of this CPU is pretty good, and it’s manufactured using Samsung’s 4nm process technology. It also includes a 10% larger vapor chamber for cooling the CPU.

Cameras

The S25 FE comes with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP wide camera, and the phone comes with the next-gen Pro Visual Engine, which helps the phone capture great photos. The object-aware engine optimises the colour and saturation of the picture based on the objects in the frame. The selfie camera gets an improvement to 12MP, which is an improvement over the 10MP camera on the S24 FE. Samsung says it can shoot 20% more pixels thanks to this upgrade.

It elevates Samsung nightography low-noise mode, boosts the clarity of images captured in low light, and super HDR mode shows great colors and clarity in video, and photo assist enhances on-device editing, and generative edit automatically detects the objects, etc., in the photo and auto-recommends the user to remove these objects, etc., and portrait studio allows the users to create personalized avatars with more true-to-life facial expressions, and instant slo-mo can transform any clip to slow motion with just a tap, and a lot more, like audio eraser and auto trim, which enhance the video editing process.

Battery

The S25 FE features the largest battery in the FE lineup ever, featuring a 4900 mAh battery over the 4700 mAh cell found on the S24 FE, and it still includes support for the 45W charging, which can charge the phone to 65% in 30 min, and it features 15W of wireless charging and includes wireless power share so that we can share battery via wireless charging.

OS

The Galaxy S25 FE comes pre-installed with One UI 8 out of the box, which is based on Android 16, making this the first phone in the S-series lineup to come pre-installed with One UI 8. It also includes seven major OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. It comes with Gemini Live, Now Brief, and Circle to Search on the phone, along with many AI features.

Pricing

The S25 FE will be available from September 4th in select markets and will include 6 months of free Gemini AI Pro bundled with the smartphone, allowing users to access the Gemini features. The pricing for the S25 FE starts at 59,999 for the 8+128 variant, 65,999 for the 8+256 variant, and 77,999 for the 8+512 variant. A storage upgrade from the 256 GB variant to the 512 GB variant is available for free, and a bank cashback of ₹5000 is offered on the phone. The sale for the smartphone starts on 29 September.
