Samsung Galaxy F55 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Flat display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness with a display resolution of 1080*2400 Pixels.
Build and Design
The Samsung Galaxy F55 has a vegan leather back with Plastic frames with the same triple camera design that Samsung provides at every price and in every series. From S24 Plus (an INR 100k+ smartphone) to Galaxy F15 (an INR 10k smartphone), you will find the same repeated design on the back of almost every Samsung smartphone launched in the past some time. It has stereo speakers and a dual SIM card slot, one for a nano-SIM and the other for a hybrid slot (here you can either insert another SIM card or a MicroSD card) and it doesn’t have any 3.5mm jack.

Rear Camera
Samsung Galaxy F55 comes with a triple rear camera setup, a 50MP Main Camera (f/1.8) with OIS, an 8 MP (f/2.2) Ultrawide Camera and a 2 MP (f/2.4) Macro camera. The rear camera has a digital zoom up to 10x. You can record 4K@30fps, but if you are recording at 1080p, you can record at up to 60fps. While recording in slow motion, it supports 240fps at HD quality. These were the specifications of the rear camera setup.
Front Camera
The front camera is 50MP (f/2.4) and you can record at 30fps on 4K and on 1080p, there is the option to record at 60fps.
Battery and Charging
The Galaxy F55 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. There is no charger available in the box, so you’ll have to purchase it separately. However, there is no wireless or reverse wireless charging support.
Software and Future Updates
The Samsung Galaxy F55 comes with OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14. The smartphone will receive 4 Years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. So, as per this policy, it will receive OS updates till Android 18.
Network and Connectivity
Galaxy F55 supports Dual SIM (nano SIM + nano SIM or MicroSD card) with Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz+5GHz and NFC support. It doesn’t support Samsung Dex.
