The Pixel 10 has been launched in India, and it’s a successor to the Pixel 9, which was launched in India last year. It brings some improvements on board, like a TSMC-manufactured CPU and a telephoto camera. Finally, let’s discuss them.
Design

The colors are Indigo, Frost, and Limelight.
The design has changed slightly compared to the Pixel 9, as it now features a triple camera setup instead of the previous dual camera setup, and the overall weight of the phone has increased due to the inclusion of a larger 5000 mAh battery. When discussing the colors on the phone, Google has introduced new options, so we now have four choices: indigo, frost, lemongrass, and obsidian.
Display
The Pixel 10 display is for the people who love the small phones, which have a 6.3-inch actual display, and it’s 2025, and the display is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the brightness is increased to 2000 nits while watching content in HDR and has a peak brightness of 3000 nits and a PWM rating of 240 Hz, which is again not good from a flagship phone since the budget phones get 3840 Hz, and even Samsung has 480 Hz PWM on the S25.
Performance
The Pixel 10 gets the Tensor G5 chip, which is a good improvement since you finally get a TSMC-manufactured CPU on board instead of the inefficient Samsung nodes on the Tensor, and also a much faster TPU (up to 60% improvement). The on-device AI tasks will be performed much faster, and a CPU architecture that is 30% faster could make the tasks smoother than before.
The device is manufactured using the TSMC 3nm process node. The phone also runs the latest Gemini Nano model, and thanks to the improved TPU, you are getting 2x faster on tasks like recording and screenshots. The Pixel’s stunning ISP makes the photos feel better.
Camera
The Pixel 10 brings improvement to the camera system. It introduces a new 10 MP telephoto camera; however, this comes at the cost of a worse ultrawide camera, and the main camera is a smaller sensor in size than the Pixel 9’s main camera, which does mean a bit lower quality low-light photos, etc.
The camera specifications include a 48MP main camera with a ½ camera sensor size, a 13MP ultrawide with a 1/3.1 sensor size, and a 10MP telephoto that features 5x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, there’s a 10MP selfie camera. It also offers a 20x Super Res Zoom, allowing you to capture zoomed-in pictures without significantly losing quality. There’s a camera coach with Gemini that helps you find the perfect angle for the photo.
Battery
The Pixel 10 also receives an upgrade in the battery department. It features a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging, with a 30W PPS brick, and the phone also has support for PixelSnap Qi 2 charging technology at 15W.
OS
The Pixel 10 comes pre-installed with Android 16, and as you know about Pixel, it comes with stock Android as usual and has support for 7 years of Android updates, which is great for a flagship phone, and it has a lot of AI features on board this time, like Magic Cue, and it finds all the data related to the conversation right for you.
Pricing
The Pixel 10 starts at ₹79,999 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant, and it’s great to see Pixel finally giving us a 256 variant instead of a 128 variant, and yes, the pricing is just not good when you compare it to its competitors, the S25, etc., and the Tensor G5 isn’t as powerful as the 8 Elite for any comparison, and the PWM rates for the phone and everything aren’t good for the Pixel. While the ₹80000 price for the 256 GB variant is appealing, the overall specifications of the device lack a lot.
