Nothing built its identity on clean, minimal software and listening to its community. Now that identity is slowly fading away. Now, Bloatware is added with new updates. Some cannot be uninstalled, which puts the brand in the same category.

Now, what’s the difference between Nothing and other brands? NothingOS is becoming less minimal with every update. More AI features, services, and unwanted features. Community feedback is being ignored. The brand should override the essential button, which many users request.

The biggest issue is broken promises. Nothing markets their phones as bloatware-free. Now, they’re adding bloatware later, making a clean experience exclusive to flagship models. It feels misleading.

If costs were an issue, prices should’ve been higher from the start instead of shifting the burden to users after purchase. At this point, custom ROMs offer a cleaner and more consistent experience.

If other brands offer better hardware and stronger software support, with similar pricing, while Nothing no longer delivers clean software, then what’s the reason to choose this brand? Right now, it’s losing the very point that made it special.
