Xiaomi has introduced HyperOS 2.0 to the global, which was launched last month, and the UI is built on top of the Android 15 OS officially introduced last month. It includes new animations, upgraded aesthetics, upgraded Xiaomi cross-device compatibility, and more.

3D Real-Time Dynamic Weather system

The New Weather app includes a dynamic weather system, so the weather images change based on the dynamic models powered by the atmospheric models, which is a good change for the company.

A clean and refreshing visual experience

New animations. Smoother experience

Xiaomi says that the animations of the UI have been refined for the following processes pulling down the notification shade or the control center and opening the home screen from the lock screen, which is a good move from the company considering that the competition is also working on refining the animations on their devices too, which is a good thing.

Xiaomi Interconnectivity

Faster, smoother, and more reliable with upgraded performance

Xiaomi says that the data transfer speeds for the Xiaomi interconnectivity are improved by 33% and the cross-sync rates by 15%, and the cross-device power consumption is improved by a massive 71%, which is the best thing Xiaomi has done with the Hyper OS since launch.

Unified App Ecosystem

Homescreen+ 2.0

Use apps seamlessly across the device if you are say watching a movie on our Xiaomi smartphone and you want a bigger screen you connect your phone to the tablet and drag and drop the process so you can enjoy the movie on the big screen

Pin apps across the devices for easier access. This one is for tablet users, so you can pin the browser app or the game app from your phone on the home screen so you can use the apps without the need for your smartphone, which is a good thing.

PlayBack Transfer

hyperos 2.0

Effortlessly transfer the music from your device to a better speaker like the Xiaomi Smart Speaker (IR Control), Mi Smart Speaker, Mi Smart Clock, and Xiaomi TVs running the OS provided by Google which seems limited, to be honest. and stuff for enjoying the music’s tunes, which is a good change from Xiaomi. To be frank, it’s good that we can finally transfer the music to better speakers.

Call Sync

hyperos 2.0

Thanks to the new operating system we can now take calls from the tablet even when we are not near the phone and it’s an important work call.

Cross-Ecosystem Connectivity

Now you can link your phone to Windows phone link software and access your Xiaomi phone’s contents directly from your Windows PC without needing the phone. Thanks to the new phone link update, you can directly access the files from the PC, and you can drag and drop files from the PC to the Xiaomi PC and vice versa too. Lastly, you can make and receive phone calls directly on the Windows PC, and you can read the messages from the PC, which is a really good thing.
