realme P3 Pro Expected Specs & Launch Date – A Worthy Upgrade?

The realme P3 Pro will launch on the 18th of February. It is a successor to the P2 Pro, launched in the 3rd quarter of 2024. It brings a much-needed performance improvement to the phone since the 7s Gen 2 is just a minor improvement from the P1 Pro. The realme P3 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which is the first phone to have the chipset in the segment. We don’t know about the details, but seeing the old Realme P series launch, the price segment might be 20k. If true. It would be good for the consumers, and let’s check on the other things about the smartphone.

Display

realme P3 Pro

The realme P3 Pro will come with a 6.83 inch Quad Curved EdgeFlow AMOLED display with 1.5k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate with a local peak brightness of 1500 nits and 1 billion true colours and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, which is good for the phone if it comes in the 20k segment. The phone features the segment’s first quad-curved display and a 2500Hz sampling rate for gamers so they can be able to play games with a good experience on the display.

Performance

realme P3 Pro

The realme P3 pro features the segment’s fastest Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset with an Antutu score of 8 lakh. The company has also partnered with Krafton for good performance while playing BGMI. The phone has support for a high frame rate, which means the phone can support 90 fps in BGMI and an optimized temperature, a stable network, and efficient battery usage. With these, the phone comes with GT Boost, which will come to GT 7 Pro this month.

The GT boost packs AI ultra touch control with a high sampling rate, optimized for ultra-fast response times. AI Motion Control introduces gesture and posture control, providing a console-like experience on the phone. For gamers looking to customize their performance and efficiency, the phone also has geek power tuning and game focus mode for gamers. And since it has the performance chip, the phone has increased the VC cooling area by 34%, now featuring a 6050 mm² vapour cooling, helping the phone to stay cool during intense gameplay.

Battery

realme P3 Pro

The realme P3 Pro features a 6000 mAh battery, which is an improvement over the 5200 mAh battery that was found on the P2 Pro, and Realme claims the phone can last 2 days on a single charge. Despite packing a huge battery, the phone gets 80 W charging support, which Realme claims can top up the phone to 50% in 24 min, which is good in the segment again.

Design & Camera

Talking about the design, we don’t know about the colors the phone might pack. Still, according to the leaks we saw, the phone might come with a 50 MP OIS dual camera setup on the back of the image with Hyper Image+ branding, which was used on the Realme 14 series recently so that Realme might bring a good camera setup with a good design on the Realme P series.

Conclusion

The realme P3 Pro will be powered by the Realme UI 6, which is based on Android 15 and includes many AI features. It will get two major updates and three years of security patches on the phone. We think the pricing might be 20k for the base variant with credit card offers, which seems good for the phone considering that you are getting a decent camera, maybe since Realme has a habit of mixing a good main camera with a depth camera or macro lens for the phone and a good performance in the segment and a good display package with a monstrous battery capacity too. Feel free to give your guesses on the pricing in the comments.
