Realme recently launched the Narzo N63, an entry level smartphone targeting budget consumers. Even though it doesn’t boast high-end specs, it offers a compelling package for everyday use at an attractive price point. Let’s overview the specs, features and more!
Design and Display
The Narzo N63 boasts of being the thinnest phone in its segment at 7.74mm and is pretty light at 189g making it comfortable to hold for extended periods. It also features a premium vegan leather back, which is first in the segment. For people who don’t like vegan leather, there’s a plastic back variant. This slim design is paired with a 6.75 inch LCD display at 720p resolution. While it’s not the sharpest, it’s adequate for normal usage and is accompanied with a 90Hz screen which offers smooth experience while browsing and using social media. The phone is available in two colours, Leather Blue and Twilight Purple.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the Narzo N63 features a Unisoc “Tiger” T612 chipset, which is the same SoC in its predecessor, Narzo N53. It’s good for day to day tasks or basic gaming but not for heavy gaming. It’s backed by up to 4GB of RAM, which can be virtually expanded by another 4GB using expandable storage, a feature Realme calls “Dynamic RAM.” This is supposed to help improve multitasking and app performance. Storage options includes 64GB and 128GB which can be extended using MicroSD card.
Battery Life and Charging
The main highlight of Narzo N63 is it’s battery and Charging speed. Realme packs in a 5000mAh Li-ion battery with 45W charging. The phone should easily last a day under normal usage. Realme claims that it can provide 1 hour of calling from just a minute of charge. The phone will go from 0% – 100% in about 65 minutes.
Cameras
Camera setup of Narzo N63 consists of a main 50MP shooter (1/2.5″) and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has an 8MP selfie shooter. There is a dedicated 50MP mode and night mode which is rare in this segment. Videos are capped to 1080p 30fps in main camera and 720p 30fps in selfie camera. The camera output is average at best. There is lack of details in low light conditions. There’s neither OIS or EIS so the video output is average as well. But for the specific price it’s not bad but not too good either.

Their are minimal amount of bloatware apps and some other adverts like glance and suggestions. It’s recommended to turn them off. Other features include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, side mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 dust and splash resistance. Realme also advertises the aqua touch feature which let’s users use the phone even if screen is wet.
