The realme Narzo 70 Turbo has been launched in India, and it’s a rebrand of the Realme 13+, which we covered a week ago, but with a good motorsports-inspired design.

Design

The Narzo 70 turbo features a motorsports-inspired design. The Narzo 70 turbo features a square camera layout, and the phone has a 9-layer vapor cooling design and is still 7.6mm thin and 185g weight. The Narzo 70 Turbo has an IP65 water resistance certification, which should protect the phone from water and dust resistance. The Narzo 70 turbo has an antenna array matrix to ensure good data connectivity from anywhere.

Display


The Narzo 70 turbo features a 6.67 OLED display with Pro-XDR Technology with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1200 Hz instantaneous sampling rate, and 2000 nits of peak brightness; it has rainwater smart-touch so that you can use the phone’s display in rainy situations too; and it has AI-eye protection; it intelligently detects your eye status and adjusts the screen colour temperature to protect your eyes in real-time. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It has dual stereo speakers for a good audio experience. 

Performance

The Narzo 70 turbo features a Dimensity 7300 energy chipset, and it’s a small improvement to the Narzo 70 pro, launched in March 2024. The major improvements come from the TSMC 4nm process and the newer GPU architecture. The CPU gets a 100 MHz clock boost, and it gets an Antutu score of 7.5 lakhs. It also features the GT Mode, which was previously limited to the GT series. It also features geek power tuning and was announced with the GT 6T, which lets users customize the CPU and GPU performance.

The 70 turbo has AI boost 2.0 based on your unique usage habits; the apps you use the most will launch faster, and the 70 turbo has a 6050 m2 stainless steel vapor cooling chamber to keep the phone cool when you use extensive loads or play longer game sessions; it decreases the CPU temperature by around 19 degrees. It features geek power tuning and was announced with the GT 6T, which lets users customize the CPU and GPU performance. The phone can game at 90 fps, whereas Realme has optimized the phone to get 90 fps in some major games.

Cameras

The Narzo 70 Turbo features two cameras in the square camera layout; the first camera is a 50MP sensor, and the 2MP portrait camera just sits there without giving you an advantage. It can shoot videos at 4k 30fps on the 50 mega-pixel sensor, and it records multi-view videos at 1080 30fps. It features a 16 MP selfie camera with 1080p 30fps video recording. 

Battery

The Narzo 70 Turbo features a 5000mAh battery even though it’s 7.5mm thick, and it includes a 45W charging adaptor, which allows it to quickly charge from flat 0% to 50% in 30 minutes, allowing you to quickly get back to gaming.

The Narzo 70 Turbo comes with Realme UI 5 Android 14 pre-installed, and according to the company’s update schedule, the phones should get 2 major updates, Android 15 and Android 16, with 3 years of security updates.

Pricing

The Narzo 70 Turbo starts at ₹16,999 for the 6/128 variant, the 8/128 costs you ₹17999, and the 8/256 variant is ₹20,999. Additionally, all of these variants come with a 2000 rupee coupon to further reduce the prices of the phones. The prices with the coupon are ₹14,999 for the 6/128 and ₹15,999 for the 8/128 and lastly the 8/256 variant at ₹18,999. The first sale of the phone should start on 16 September at 12 pm at the Realme store and Amazon.

Verdict

The Narzo 70 Turbo is a rebranded 13+ with slower charging and high pricing, the prices of the 70 Turbo will make the users who will buy the phone so happy because they can get a full-on gaming phone under ₹20,000,But the phone is highly capable of delivering good performance that too in under ₹20000
