The “Circle to Search” feature was recently introduced, and Google takes a new step in revealing this innovative feature to other Android phones. This feature is available to Google’s latest flagship smartphones: the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. However, Samsung has announced that Circle to Search will be exclusive to only certain Google and Samsung phones for most of the year. Plus, there’s a report that this feature may come to other Android phones later this year. Let’s dive into the details.

Recently, the “Circle to Search” feature has been rolled out which is more convenient when it comes to searching for things on your smartphone’s screen. As mentioned earlier, Galaxy S24 and Pixel 8 series users can use the “Circle to Search” features on their smartphones without having to leave the application they are using.

Samsung and Google have confirmed that this new feature will come to other Galaxy and Pixel phones later this year. It will only happen after October 5, 2024, at the time of Pixel 9 series launch. Therefore, we can expect the Circle to Search feature on other Android smartphones in October or November.

As per the latest report, the new Galaxy Ai feature will be coming to Galaxy S23 phone as well, later this year. A user Tarun Vats on X (via SamMobile) claimed that the new Circle to Search feature will be coming to older Galaxy phones including Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip 5 too.

There is no report on Samsung’s official website available for the Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy A54 or Galaxy A34, which more or less confirms that these phones will be getting a Circle to Search feature soon. Apart from these devices, we can expect the Circle to Search and other Ai features to arrive on eligible devices later this year.

How Does Circle to Search Feature Work

Circle to Search is an entirely new feature in the era of Ai technology. However, it is pretty simple to access this feature in order to search for anything on the smartphones without switching between apps. You may easily be able to search the things that you don’t know by circling, highlighting, tapping, or even scribblings. By doing these things, you can know about the information you’re looking for.

This feature allows you to search anything like searching for items and other things in a video directly by circling the thing on your smartphone. Simply, long-press the home button or navigation bar and select the item with a gesture you would like to find from a retailer across the website. Plus, you can scribble the item and then click on it to see the things.

Therefore, the Circle to Search feature is now available on Galaxy S24 and the latest Google’s Pixel 8 series smartphone. As per the reports and announcements, the Circle to Search feature is likely to be released in the upcoming month for the other Android smartphones including the older Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices.
