Infinix, the brand known for its aggressively priced products, recently launched its new products into the market including a new clamshell-style flip phone and a new midrange laptop. The launch definitely created some buzz amongst Tech Enthusiasts and even the general consumers. In this article, we will take a look at the Infinix InBook Air Pro+, which is a solid addition to Infinix’s portfolio of laptops.

The Infinix InBook Air Pro+ is one of the most value-for-money laptops in the market as of now, and it also claims to be the slimmest and lightest 14-inch OLED laptop of the year.

PERFORMANCE

The laptop is powered by a 13th-generation Intel Core i5 1334 U processor. Which consists of 10 cores and can reach peak speeds of up to 4.6 GHz. Infinix has paired this powerful processor with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM clocked at over 4200 MHz. This combo is powerful enough to run basic daily tasks and even more than that, you can run Photoshop easily on this laptop and some other demanding apps as well.

Since the laptop comes with an integrated GPU, instead of a dedicated one, it does not target gamers. It can still run some lightweight titles which are not graphic-intensive.

To further compliment the speed of this unit, Infinix has put in a 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD, which can theoretically reach speeds of 3000Mbps+.

DISPLAY

Now coming to the most hyped part of this laptop, the display. Infinix has used this aspect to set it apart from other laptops and they have killed the competition entirely. OLED displays on laptops are very rare in this price range.

The display is very reasonably sized at 14 inches and is an OLED Panel with 2.8K resolution. The panel refreshes at 120Hz and reaches a peak brightness of up to 440 nits.

The display covers 100% sRGB and DCI-P3 colour gamuts. This single-handedly makes this laptop one of the best choices for someone who wants to run Colour-accurate tasks like Photoshop.

AI ADOPTION AND CONNECTIVITY

Infinix has also equipped this laptop with the new Copilot key, making it easier to access Microsoft’s AI Chatbot. Although I’m not sure why anyone would want to do that, considering how bad it is.

With two USB-C ports, one HDMI, and one 3.5mm headphone jack, the laptop also has support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. All these make it quite up-to-date as of now and pretty much compatible with other technologies in the coming future for many more years to come.

BATTERY LIFE

Infinix has blessed this laptop with an admirably sized 57Wh cell, which is charged with a 65W USB-C charger. We are glad the laptop comes with support for Type-C charging because this is the new standard, and it’s only a matter of time before every device will be charged with Type-C only.

PRICING

The Infinix Inbook Air Pro+ starts at Rs. 49,900 and will be available in two colours: Brown and Silver. The laptop will be available on October 22 at 12 PM IST on Flipkart.

CONCLUSION

Infinix InBook Air Pro+ targets a user base that no other brand wants to, and it is the compact laptop fanbase. The laptop has a 14-inch display and pretty slim bezels as well. And since the entire size of the laptop depends on the size of the display, it makes the laptop quite a compact one with just over 1KG of weight, which also makes it a good choice for students and working professionals who have to carry it inside their bags now and then.
