HP showcased its EliteBoard G1a Next Gen AI PC at CES 2026, which will come with a full desktop computer in a keyboard form factor.
Specifications and features
It might be the smartest keyboard, as it features an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor with over 50 TOPS NPU for better AI workloads. This Copilot+ PC supports dual 4K displays via USB-C.
HP Eliteboard G1a is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series, up to 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 2TB NVMe storage for productivity-focused usage.
It includes a pre-paired Bluetooth mouse, dual mics, stereo speakers, and a modern design for easy upgrades in RAM, SSD, and battery. It has an optional 35 Wh easily replaceable battery supporting 3.5 hours of runtime, and the wired version has a fixed USB-C cable.
The Keyboard wil come with an optional fingerprint scanner, HP Wolf Security, and features like HP Smart Sense for smart performance adaptation.
Setup
HP Eliteboard G1a can be used by plugging into a monitor via a Type-C port for instant use, with no separate PC needed. It will support daisy chaining displays and will have several ports, likea USB4 port for connectivity. It will be good for hybrid work, for carrying between home and the work area while maintaining a clutter-free desk.
Availability
The G1a is expected to be available on HP.com starting in March 2026 and might be targeting enterprise users.
