Google Pixel 10a has launched globally with a thinner and lighter design, faster charging, brighter screen, but display size, battery, chipset, and cameras remain the same or similar to last year’s Pixel 9a.

It’s available in 8 GB + 256 GB for ₹49,999. It’s targeted for budget users with basic Performance and basic capabilities. It runs Android 16 out of the box, with a promise of 7 years of OS Upgrades and security patches.
Pixel 10a has a 6.3″ Actua Display, which reaches up to 3000 nits in terms of peak brightness, with Gorilla Glass 7i protection. This display has a slightly thinner bezel compared to last year’s 9a. This display can run between 60Hz and 120Hz.

The phone is powered by the same Tensor G4 Chipset as last year’s Pixel 9a, paired with a Titan M2 chip for data security. The phone is rated for IP68 dust and water resistance.
Pixel 10a has the same 5100mAh battery (same as the Pixel 9a), 30W wired charging, allowing to charge around 50% in just 30 mins (improved, compared to 23W of the Pixel 9a), 10W wireless (improved, compared to 7.5W seen on last year’s 9a).
Coming to cameras, Pixel 10a and Pixel 9a are the same, no changes. It still consists of a 48 MP main (1/2″) , a 13 MP ultra‑wide angle, and a 13 MP selfie sensor on the front.

Pixel 10a comes in Lavender, Berry, Fog and Obsidian in terms of colors and measures around 9 mm in thickness, and weighs around 183 grams in weight.

In terms of connectivity, Pixel 10a supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.0, it has a Type-C port rated for USB 3.2 Speeds
Pixel 10a is priced the same as 9a. Pixel 10a is just the same phone as last year, but with very minor changes, like the colors. Pixels are known for their software features rather than hardware, but they could’ve at least changed the processor. You can save up to ₹6k with bank cashback and exchange bonus until 16th March.
