I was searching for a 30W+ power bank with PD PPS support under ₹2k or ₹1.8k. While searching, I came across Indian brands like Ambrane, which are very well-known. but not for charging, but for blasts or malfunctions instead of what its use should be.
I saw Stuffcool and decided to buy the Stuffcool Mega 2 10,000mAh power bank. It had only 1 Type-C and 1 USB-A port. Limited ports, but enough for me. I didn’t expect much, but when it came, I started using it, and it was just another power bank for some time.
I used it for a trip to Ooty, Coorg, Wayanad, and also some other places. I wanted PPS support for my Phone (3a) since it’s preferred for better battery SOT based on my usage.

I used the Mega 2 for a minimum of 16 hours a day for about two straight months, mainly because I was using my Phone (1) 24/7 as a 5G hotspot at home thanks to Jio True 5G Unlimited. For the first two weeks, it was just being used, and I did not notice much as it was just lying there near the living room, just charging the phone while I walked across the house or sat on my desk using the Hotspot on my Laptop or Phones I was using, i.e, Nord 4/Phone (3a)
Then one day, I dropped it onto concrete and nothing happened. Literally no damage or issues, just some minor scratches on the transparent enclosure areas. No other issues at all. 😆
After 2 weeks, I switched to using my phone (3a) with Jio True 5G Unlimited. I used 5G throughout the whole 1.5-month trip, almost the whole time, and it was cool – cause it’s Stuffcool, hehe.
The power bank was very good. As we were mostly inside the car on the road, I used it all the time. Sometimes, I charge the power bank using a QC 3.0 car charger I got for just ₹300 offline. I know that the charger could damage my phone, so I used it only to charge the power bank using the Type-C port and then used a USB-A to Type-C cable to power my Nothing Phone (3a). The power bank survived everything and still works perfectly, with good charging capabilities of hours even now.
After the trip, my cousins, who were with me on the trip, need one for their iPhones. I ordered the same model for them. One of them had an iPhone 13 Pro with 74% battery health, and the other cousin had a new iPhone 15 with just a few charging cycles. 🫠
After vacation, I came back to Qatar for my studies. Here, we have an iPhone 13 Pro that’s on the verge in terms of battery health. That phone uses 5G all the time, too (though not unlimited), with lots of calls and texting since it’s used for some business purposes. My father used the Stuffcool power bank in the extreme hot weather inside the car most of the time, and it still looks and works like new; there are no issues at all.
I honestly didn’t expect an Indian brand power bank to perform very well like this. I’ve recommended Stuffcool to more than 10 people since then. Later, I found out some of my friends from X or Twitter already use Stuffcool chargers in their daily lives too.
I know this doesn’t reach the level of big brands like Anker or Belkin fully, but you have to pay above ₹4,000 for their good ones, and I didn’t want to spend that much on a power bank. In fact, Anker’s and Belkin’s customer support is not as impressive as Stuffcool’s, at least in my experience in Kerala, India. Not saying it’s bad; service is good, but I think Stuffcool’s support is even better.
I have even used this power bank in-flight to charge my M1 Air, since I forgot to plug it in the night before the flight. 🙃
I like how this power bank is still going, and I will surely buy Stuffcool chargers or products, to be exact. I thought I should write about this so someone might benefit from it or get to know about it.
