realme has introduced the realme 15T, an upgraded version of the realme 14T, which debuted on April 25th. It brings improvements to the battery and design, while bringing a bigger 7000 mAh battery improvement too; the weight has been reduced on the phone, which is a good point.
Design
The back of the phone features a textured matte 4R design with a satin-like feel, so that it feels premium in your hand with nano-level crystal lithography for a superior feel in your hands and better fingerprint resistance The mid-frame fits comfortably in your hands, and the new flowing silver color shows realme doing good designs on the phone.
The phone has unique textures and the metallic camera housings, and the camera bump is just 1.57 mm, so the phone could lie well on the table without creating any gaps and with a huge 7000 mah battery, it weighs 181grams and 7.8mm and the colors for the phone include silk blue, suit titanium, flowing silver and IP69 water resistance.

Display
The phone features a 6.57 in 1080p panel with 4000 nits of peak brightness, 1400 nits of HBM brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, perfectly rounded corners so that your in-hand feel feels so good, 2160 Hz of PWM dimming so that you feel less eye strain while watching the content in low light, and a good screen-to-body ratio of 93%.
Performance
The performance of the realme 15T suggests that realme may have compromised the price-performance ratio. The phone features the Dimensity 6400, despite being priced at 20,000, which isn’t favourable. The chipset is intended for smartphones in the sub-10k category, but realme has introduced this in sub-20,000 phones, increasing their margins and targeting consumers who may not prioritise specifications. And since the chipset has an outdated GPU, recording and playback of 4k videos aren’t possible. The phone comes equipped with a 6050 m² airflow vapour chamber cooling system; however, the chipset does not require such extensive cooling—a 2000 to 3000 m² system would be better.
Cameras
The phone features a 50 MP sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor, as well as a 50 MP front-facing sensor, which again doesn’t feel good given the pricing and chipset combination provided by realme. At least realme could have included an ultra-wide camera; instead, Realme opted for a 50+2 configuration alongside a low-quality sensor. Thereby marketing the phone as a triple camera system, however, only one sensor is practically usable.
Battery
The battery is one area they did well, giving the phone a 7000 mAh Titan battery, which is good, and the phone also has 60W flash charging, so that it can top up the phone fast, say 50% of the battery in 31 minutes, and it has bypass charging and reverse charging so that we can charge our other devices.
OS
The phone comes with realme UI 6 based on Android 15 out of the box, and it comes with three major OS updates and a four-year security update policy, which is a great addition. It features several AI tools, like the AI Smart Loop Circle to search and the AI Edit Genie for photo enhancement.
Pricing
The pricing is where the phone starts to look so overpriced. The phone starts at 8/128 at 20,999, 8/256 at 22,999, and 12/256 at 24,999, and the offers are like 1000 on CC/DC, and if you take a CC EMI, you get a 2000 Rs instant discount on the 8/128 only; others get the 1000 Rs instant discount only, and you get the Realme T01 as a free gift if you order before September 6th, and with the offers, the 8/128 comes to 20,000 or 19,000, 8/256 at 21,999, and 12/256 at 23,999, which is just so bad.
