Xiaomi and Leica have officially unveiled their latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (€1,499) and the Leica Leitzphone (€1,999). Both devices have flagship-level performance, design, and camera technology.


Display
Both phones come with a 6.9-inch 1.5K HyperRGB LTPO AMOLED Display (TCL CSOT M10), supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, going up to 1060 nits in high brightness mode (HBM), protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.
Performance
The phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and Adreno 840 GPU.
Software
Both phones run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box.
Cameras
On the back is a 50MP 1-inch LOFIC Omnivision Light Hunter 1050L OIS main, 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide, and 200MP Samsung S5KHPE periscope lens, which helps achieve 3.2x to 4.3x continuous optical zoom (75 – 100mm, three-group floating lens design). On the front is a 50MP Omnivision OV50M sensor.
Battery
A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone with support for up to 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
