The Tecno Pova Curve launched on the 29th of May 2025, and it packs the Dimensity 7300 chipset and features a curved AMOLED+ display under the 20k price bracket, which is a good thing from Pova, and it has a unique design. Let’s check it out.
Design & Speakers


The Tecno Pova Curve features an interstellar spaceship design with fluid dual curves and an interesting geometric triangle on the design with fine matte colors and spliced optical patterns. The phone is 7.45mm thin and just 176 grams in weight, and it comes in three colors. Neon Cyan, which is my favorite color, Magic Silver, and Geek Black. It features a dual-camera design, which also looks pretty cool from my perspective.
For the audio, the phone features dual stereo speakers with Dolby audio support that can deliver a spatial sound experience. For the audiophiles, the phone supports hi-res audio support and hi-res audio support while on wireless, only on supported devices.
Display
The Tecno Pova Curve features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of brightness, a 2160 Hz instantaneous refresh rate, and a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. Lastly, the phone features 2304 Hz PWM dimming, which reduces visible flickers and alleviates eye strain on the smartphone.
Performance
The Tecno POVA Curve features a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate CPU, and with the Hyper Gaming Engine, the phone can play BGMI at 90 fps, and the game control panel can instantly schedule GPU usage, touch control, power saving, performance mode, and equilibrium mode for enhanced performance for the smartphone, and the game assistant monitors performance device conditions and gives you an immersive gaming experience, and the Magic Voice Changer offers 15 voice effects.
When there’s no signal, it is the first phone from the Pova series to support a free link able to send and receive messages within a 500-meter range in signal-free areas. There is pinpoint nav 2.0, which offers precise positioning with minimal lag and 60% precision improvement.
Camera
The Pova Curve is equipped with a 64 MP camera, enabling the capture of more details and textures. The dual flash on the phone allows it to capture very great pictures in low-light scenarios. The phone also features a 13 MP selfie camera. The phone also comes with two new features: city-inspired filters. These filters are used to capture the city, and festival-inspired filters will be used to celebrate the culture and capture good festival pictures that look good.
Battery
The Pova Curve is equipped with a 5500 mAh battery, and the phone also comes with 45 W of flash charge, which can take the phone from 0 to 50% in just 27 minutes and fully charge in 59 minutes. The phone has a ladder charge, which lets you choose between low-temp charge, smart charge, and hypercharge depending on the charging needs of the user.
OS
The POVA curve gets the HiOS 15, which is based on Android 15, and it has dynamic animations designed to delight the user from startup to shutdown. The animation sparks joy, and it brings new icons based on the neomorphic style and a new POVA-style font. There’s an AI Anywhere portal, which features AI tools and everyday essential tools in the same place, and it features a bunch of AI features like Ella AI Assistant, which can be used for problem-solving and website summary, and AI Call Assistant, which can translate the call and attend the calls for you with support for Circle to Search and AI Studio for images.
Pricing
The POVA curve starts at 15,999 for the 6 + 128 GB variant and 16,999 for the 8 + 128 GB variant, which seems like a good price, honestly, since you are getting a 144 Hz AMOLED curved display and a 7300 chipset with a 5500 mAh + 45 W battery, so what do you think about this comment down below?
