Samsung has launched their Galaxy S26 Ultra in India, with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy and a new display tech that upcoming flagships will adopt for sure.

It’s available in 12+256GB at ₹1,39,999, 12+512GB at ₹1,59,999, and 16+1TB at ₹1,89,999. S26 Ultra runs One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box, with Galaxy AI features for efficient productivity. It also has upgraded Bixby with an LLM for natural conversation.
Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 6.9-inch LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has its M14 panel with color on Encapsulation CoE technology, which helps in vivid color output. This display can go up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness, and a new Privacy Display feature for better privacy in public or around people. This display is protected by Gorilla Armor 2 on the front, and the back uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with an Armour Aluminium frame, compared to titanium on the S25 Ultra.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and a Vapour Chamber Cooling System for better performance during intensive usage like editing or gaming. Coming to Connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4.

The camera system is a quad camera setup, consisting of a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 main 1/1.3″ sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, a 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 50MP 5x 1/2.52″ periscope telephoto lens. This camera system allows for up to 8K30fps and 4K@120fps video recording. On the front is a 12MP selfie sensor.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, which supports 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. The S Pen lacks Bluetooth connectivity.
Galaxy S26 Ultra comes in Black, White, Cobalt Violet, and Sky Blue colors, and online exclusive colors being Pink, Gold and Silver Shadow. It is available via Samsung.com, major online retailers, and offline stores across India.
