realme is gearing up to launch its GT 7 series in India this month. It’s a rebrand of the GT Neo 7, which launched in China last month. Derived from the GT name, its performance will be the best in the price category.

Design

The realme GT 7 gets a unique design on the GT series, which is good that realme is innovating on the phone side. Despite featuring an 8.25mm body, it features a 7000 mAh battery, which indicates that Realme has a silicon carbon battery to optimize the battery capacity with the thickness of the phone. These specs are from their Chinese monikers, so the specifications might change, and they feature IP69 water and dust resistance on the phone, but the phone has a 203g weight, which is kind of decent for the battery size.

The realme GT 7T also features a unique design. Realme calls the design the Ares Macha design, and it’s only valid in the blue color of the phone with the nail of faith embedded inside the design of the smartphone. This phone also includes a 7000 mAh battery, and these specs are from their Chinese monikers, so the specifications might change; it features IP69 water and dust resistance on the phone, but the phone has a 212g weight, which is kind of decent for the battery size.

Display

The realme GT 7 has a BOE Q10 panel, which was designed in collaboration with BOE. The BOE Q10 has increased the peak brightness by 12.5%, power consumption by 10%, material life by 35%, and a 6.8-inch panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone also has DC dimming and 4608Hz of PWM dimming for eye protection while watching content at night with a 1.3mm narrow frame, and for the gamers out there with 2600Hz of instantaneous touch sampling rate with 6500 nits of local peak brightness and 1800 nits of global peak brightness on the phone with 100% P3 color gamut, which would help the photographers out there.

The realme GT 7T features a 6.78 inch 1.5k resolution panel with 120 Hz of adaptive refresh rate with the help of 8T LTPO, it has a Pro-XDR display engine, and it has 1.49mm narrow bezels around the corner of the phone with 6000 nits of local peak brightness and a peak maximum brightness of 1600 nits with 100% P3 color gamut, which would help the photographers out there it features 2600 Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate for the gamers and the multitaskers. The phone features DC dimming and 2160 Hz PWM dimming for the user’s eye protection

Performance

The realme GT 7 is equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is built on the 3nm fabrication node and features a big core architecture. The phone features the GT performance engine 2.0, and realme’s new self-developed chip can reduce the rendering instructions by 30%. The phone features UFS 4.0 + LPDDR5X technology, ensuring excellent performance for the consumer. The phone also has a 144fps game mode for some supported games. This phone features competition-level frame stabilization. realme has also promised that this phone can run BGMI at 120fps for 6 hours.

To achieve this level of stability, the phone features a massive 7700 m² single VC chamber that covers 65% of the phone’s area, and in a large open-world game, the phone’s temperature doesn’t exceed 45 degrees even after 120 minutes at extremely high quality, and Sky Communication 2.0 improves game latency, etc. Realme has also introduced AI signal tracking technology to achieve antenna beam technology, and Super WiFi enhances the phone’s WiFi signal, and it can stay connected to WiFi for 193 meters.

The realme GT 7T is powered by the Dimensity 8400 Max chipset, which is powered by the 4nm process node with a 1+3+4 core design with a 3.25 GHz maximum frequency, and the phone features LPDDR5X RAM with an 8533 Mbps transmission rate and UFS 4.0 with a 4 Gbps read speed with Game Memory Pro with up to 4 exclusive memory game virtual memory can keep the games alive without killing them for more resources, and the phone features a GT performance engine, which optimizes the efficiency by 7% and reduces the temperature by 3 degrees, and power consumption in certain games is reduced by 5%, allowing for more game time.

With the help of 0 latency super frame 120fps, you can add in frames with 0 latency using GPU real-time rendering and stable 120fps for 60 min and Genshin 720p 60fps constant for 60 min, and the phone features a 7700m2 vapor chamber, which covers 70% of the device, and a 15% increase in vapor chamber coverage area and a 50% increase in air chamber height and 15% more water capacity with a 5-degree temperature drop.

Cameras

The realme GT 7 features a main camera with a 50 MP resolution, a sensor size of 1/1.56 inches, and a focal length of 24mm, supporting both OIS and EIS on the main camera. The phone includes an ultrawide camera, the OmniVision OV08D10, which has an 8 MP resolution. The ultrawide camera supports EIS for steady ultrawide shots. The device supports video recording at up to 4K 60 fps, and the front camera features a 16 MP IMX 480 sensor with support for 1080 60 fps of video recording.

The realme GT 7T features a main camera with a 50 MP resolution and a sensor size of 1/1.953 with a focal length of 26 mm. The camera supports OIS and supports rear video recording at 4k 60fps. The phone also has an 8 MP ultra-wide camera for wide shots from the phone and a Sony 16 MP front camera with support for 1080 30 fps.

Battery

The GT 7 features a massive 7200 mAh Titan battery with 100 W of super-fast charging and a battery density of 841 Wh/L. Still, with this big battery, the thickness is 8.25 mm, the weight is 200 grams, and second-gen bypass charging uses a charge pump with a PowerCSP packaging process to improve the conductivity and better temperature control.

The GT 7T features a massive 7000 mAh Titan battery with 80 W of smart fast charging, which can get the phone to 50% in 23 minutes. The battery has a density of 800 Wh/L, leading to a lightweight battery, and it has 38 layers of security for charging.

Software

Both the realme GT 7 and GT 7T feature the same realme UI 6, which is based on Android 15. It has inspirational themes and Fluid Cloud 2.0 and many AI features, like AI Portal 2.0, AI Call Summary, AI Recording Summary, and AI Elimination 2.0, which is an eraser to remove the objects around the person, and AI Remove Smear. Since it’s the GT series, it’s promised to get 3 major updates and 4 years of security updates.

Pricing

The realme GT 7 costs around 2599 yuan for the 12+256, converted to (30000), and 12+512, 2999 yuan, (35000 INR), and 16+256, 2899 yuan, (33700 INR) and 16+512, 3299 yuan, (38300 INR), and lastly 16 + 1TB, 3799 yuan, (44000 INR). Just for clarification, all these prices are converted to INR, so expect a price change for the models released in India.

The realme GT 7T costs around 1799 yuan for the 8+256 (21000 INR) and 1999 yuan and 22000 INR for the 12+256 and 12+512, which is 2199 yuan and 25500 INR, and 16+512 is 2499 yuan and 29000 INR. Just for clarification, all these prices are converted to INR, so expect a price change for the models released in India.
