Realme recently released its realme 12 Pro series with periscope cameras. The 12 Pro series has mixed impressions from various reviewers. Regardless, users are now waiting for the launch of the more affordable realme 12. In a render revealed on TENNA, not the realme 12 but realme 12+ has been unveiled.
TENNA is a certification website for phones sold in China, and hence the realme 12+ has been spotted there. It is possible that the name could be changed when the phone makes its way to India, but nothing is concrete as of now.
realme 12+ Specifications
As you can see from the renders above, the realme 12+ comes with a similar design to that of the realme 12 Pro and realme 12 Pro+. On the rear, you can see the same circular camera module and a leather back.

The realme 12+ specifications are still a mystery, but we have some details. First of all, the device is expected to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, just like its elder siblings. However, it is unclear which chipset we will exactly see on this device.
If we go by assumptions, it could very well be the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 or the Snapdragon 695 chip. We might also see a MediaTek chip, which makes more sense. But again, this is just our assumption, and nothing is official yet.
Update: A new leaked GeekBench result reveals that the realme 12+ will be equipped with the MT6877V/TTZA chipset. This model number suggest that the chip inside will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7050. The GeekBench scores are 958 and 2346 points for single-core and multi-core, respectively.
Moving on, the realme 12+ will sport a 6.7” FHD OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is unclear whether the display is flat or curved.
On the camera front, the realme 12+ is expected to have a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP macro shooter. Additionally, a 16 MP front camera is expected for capturing selfies.
In China, the phone will be available in various RAM and storage configurations—6GB/8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB storage. Indian variants remain uncertain.
The device also has a 4880 mAh battery, likely rounded off to a 5000 mAh battery, with support for up to 67W fast charging, confirmed by certification websites.
