OnePlus has launched both the Nord 5 and Nord CE5 in India, successors to last year’s Nord 4 and Nord CE5. Here’s a look at Nord 5’s specifications, features, and Indian Pricing.
OnePlus Nord 5
OnePlus Nord 5 comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K (2772×1240) AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and supports up to 144Hz variable refresh rate, up to 1800 nits peak brightness and up to 1400 nits in High Brightness mode(HBM). The display supports up to 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The Nord 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, paired with the Adreno 735 GPU. The phone has up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes with a Plus Key, replacing the Classic Alert Slider like the OnePlus 13s. The plus key will be able to organise schedules, concert events, restaurant info, and more. OnePlus promises 144 FPS on BGMI, CODM and Free Fire Max and 6 years of Fast and Smooth with 4 OS Updates and 6 years of security updates and 4 years of healthy battery.
Coming to Cameras, on the back, the Nord 5 has a 50MP 1/1.56″ Sony LYT-700 main camera with OIS, f/1.8 aperture, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 3.5cm macro, and support for up to 4K at 60fps video recording. On the front is a 50MP 1/2.75″ Samsung JN1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and support for up to 4K at 60fps video recording.
Nord 5 has Stereo speakers and is rated IP65 for Dust and water resistance. Coming to connectivity, it has support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
The phone has a large 6800mAh battery with support for up to 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and Bypass Charging. OnePlus promises 9.5h of CODM, 19.8h of YouTube, and 13.3h of WhatsApp video calls. 1.1h BGMI with 5 mins charge, 2.5h YouTube with 5 mins charge and 4 years battery health.
Nord 5 has an In-display optical fingerprint sensor, an Infrared sensor and a USB 2.0 Type-C Port. The Phone runs on Oxygen OS 15 with OnePlus AI, based on Android 15 out of the box. OnePlus claims it can score 3x more internet speeds as compared to the Galaxy A56 with Jio’s 5G-Advanced network.
The Phone Has Google Gemini, Similar to Other Android Phones, and OnePlus also offers Google AI Pro with 2TB of cloud storage for 3 months with a OnePlus Nord 5.
Nord 5 comes with a new OnePlus Dialer like the Newly Launched OnePlus 13s with AI VoiceScribe, AI Translation, and AI Call Assistant.
