OnePlus 13 Series Launching in India on 7th January: Impressive Specifications, Availability, and Price!

OnePlus has finally announced the launch date of its much-awaited OnePlus 13 series smartphones. OnePlus 13 and 13R will launch in Global markets, including India, on 7 January 2025. A new Saphire Blue colour of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will also be launched at the same event. Read this article to the end to know about the specifications and expected price of these products.

OnePlus 13

The star of the show is going to be the OnePlus 13. It’s going to be the most expensive offering from OnePlus. Talking about the improvements, It brings a new Micro Quad Curved display instead of a normal Side Curved display. Not just that, battery life has also been increased to 6000mAh which means that the device will now be able to run for longer on a single full charge. The biggest improvement is going to be the processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite which is this year’s flagship chipset by Qualcomm and based on 3nm.

  • LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage

  • OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15
  • Three colours – Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn

OnePlus 13R

With the OnePlus 13R, OnePlus always uses last year’s flagship chip to price it slightly lower. This year, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm’s last year’s flagship and we saw it in the OnePlus 12 too. Apart from the processor, OnePlus has changed the display to a flat panel instead of a curved panel which was used in the 12R. Also, the battery size has been increased to 6000mAh here too.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

  • LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 4.0 Storage
  • OxygenOS 15 Based on Android 15
  • Two colours – Astral Trail and Nebula Noir

Availability

Both these phones will be sold online through Amazon and OnePlus’ online store.

Expected Price

The OnePlus 12 was launched with a base variant price of INR 65K. Due to the high price of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced at around INR 70K for the base variant.

The OnePlus 13R is also expected to be priced INR 5-7K higher than the 12R. The OnePlus 12R was launched at INR 40K for the base variant and is expected to be launched at around 45-47K price. However, all these prices are estimates and you will have to wait for the launch to know the actual prices.

Last year, the OnePlus 12 came up as a perfect all-rounder for camera lovers as well as performance lovers. With the latest iteration, the camera performance is expected to improve more.
