Nothing’s Teaser
Recently, Nothing teased their upcoming product by posting an image of the Pokémon Flaaffy on their Twitter/X handle.
Nothing always teases their next product by posting an image of a Pokémon, with which it is codenamed. For example, the Nothing Phone 2 was codenamed Alakazam, and the Phone 2a was codenamed Aerodactyl.
About Flaaffy
This time, Nothing has used the Pokémon Flaaffy as the codename for their upcoming product. Flaaffy is an electric-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation II. It is signified by its tail. When its coat becomes fully charged with electricity, its tail lights up. It also fires hairs that zap on impact.
But the interesting part is that its tail lights up, and some users are assuming that Nothing is about to release a wireless charger, most likely the successor of the Nothing Power, a 45W charger.
What it Could be
It could be the enhanced version of Nothing Power (1), a 3-in-1 portable charger never went into production and ultimately cancelled, because of problems that arose during its development, including overheating and durability.
It is likely that this could be Nothing Power (2), as the characteristics of the Pokémon suggest. One more fact that supports this is that Nothing’s codenaming system is based on generations. Flaaffy was introduced in Generation 2, and this could very well mean that this is Nothing Power (2).
Nothing Power (2) would be the ultimate all-in-one charging solution, with glyph lights, that are similar to Flaaffy’s. However, it cannot be 100% guaranteed that this would be Power (2), but all the hints suggest that this product will be the successor of the Nothing Power.
