Nothing is launching its Phone 3a series in India on 4th March. The previous version, Phone 2a, sold well, and the 3a will take its place with better specs. There is also a Nothing Phone 3a Pro, which will be launching along with the normal version. Read this article until the end to learn about the specifications, expected price, and launch date of these phones.

Nothing Phone 3a will replace Phone 2a. With the 3a series, Nothing is going back to Snapdragon. The Phone 3a will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, whereas Phone 2a was powered by Dimensity 7200. The performance jump isn’t high.

Talking about the biggest change, it’s the newly added third camera at the back which is a telephoto lens with OIS and will support 2x Optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom.

Here are the key specifications of Nothing Phone 3a –

  • 6.77-inch Flat AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass protection
  • 50MP OIS main + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP 2x telephoto camera setup
  • 32MP selfie
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Processor
  • 5000mAh battery with up to 50W charging support (charger sold separately)
  • Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15
  • IP64 rating, NFC

This year, a Pro version will also be launching alongside the vanilla version. When Nothing revealed its camera bump design, most of the people on social media didn’t like the layout but to be honest, I kind of liked it. It looks a bit different but doesn’t look that bad! Do remember, design is always subjective and what I like, you might hate! Comment down and tell us what you think about this design!

You might be thinking what’s the difference in the 3a Pro other than the design? The Nothing Phone 3a Pro will have a 3x telephoto lens which will support up to 60x digital zoom and a 50MP selfie shooter instead of a 32MP one on the 3a. Other than that, everything is the same on both phones.

Here are the key specs of Nothing Phone 3a Pro –

  •  6.77-inch Flat AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass protection
  • 50MP OIS main + 8MP ultra-wide + 50MP 3x telephoto camera setup
  • 50MP selfie
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Processor
  • 5000mAh battery with up to 50W charging support (charger sold separately)
  • Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15
  • IP64 rating, NFC

Expected Price

Looking at the launch price of the Phone 2a, the Nothing Phone 3a is expected to be priced under ₹25,000 in India.

The Phone 3a Pro is expected to be priced ₹3-4k higher than the Phone 3a.

Conclusion: Best Upcoming Phones Under ₹30,000?

Nothing has always been a good choice for those who want a clean software experience. They always do something different on their phones and that’s why their phones stand out in the segment. Glyph Interface will be there this time too and other specs also seem to be good considering the telephoto lens. Also, a multipurpose button will be there on both phones.

Pricing will decide if these phones are good or not. Also, the camera specs look interesting on paper but we will have to wait for these phones to launch so that we can see how their camera system performs in real life.

One more thing, as the Phone 3a launch is near, you need to know that some Phone 2a users are reporting some issues like green tint in their phones. We hope that Nothing will provide a solution to this.

So, Nothing Phone 3a hype is at peak as its launch is right around the corner but there are multiple widespread issue with Phone 2a which are going under the radar and the support team isn't dealing with them properly.
