The Infinix GT 30 Pro is a successor to the GT 20 Pro, which launched in April 2024. The GT 30 Pro appears to be a suitable smartphone for users seeking a high-end gaming phone with triggers, which will enhance their gaming experience while playing FPS games or other titles.
Design
The Infinix GT 30 Pro features the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design, catering to gamers, and offers 10 customizable RGB lighting modes. The RGB is only present in the dark flare mode. The phone has flagship-level shoulder triggers, it can be used to set specific actions and multiple combos for each trigger, and we can customize the trigger for in-game controls, easy camera controls so it can be like a camera control button, and quick access media playback, and the phone comes in two colours named Dark Flare, which is for the hardcore gamers out there, and Blade White, which features a minimalistic design with white LED lights.

Display
The Infinix GT 30 Pro features a 6.77-inch display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 2160 Hz instantaneous touch sampling on the display with 1.5k resolution, 4500 nits of peak brightness, and 10 bits of colour depth. The phone features 2304 Hz of PWM dimming so that the gamer doesn’t feel any eye strain while playing at night, and TÜV Rheinland Eye Care certification helps reduce eye strain during extended usage.
Performance
The Infinix GT 30 Pro features the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, which scores more than 1.5 million in the Antutu benchmark, and the phone features the LPDDR5X RAM type and UFS 4.0 storage type. To keep the chipset cool under longer sessions of gaming, the 3D vapour chamber cooling system is 13% bigger than the 20 Pro and reduces 20% more heat, it’s a 6-layer VC cooling system.
There are X Boost AI game modes, like AI Magic Box, which skips storylines and auto-picks items and performance modes to tune the phone, and Zone Touch Master, which learns our touch patterns during gameplay to boost touch response where we need it most. There are 6-axis gyroscopes and full antenna coverage for good network coverage, and the x-axis linear motor for good vibration.
Cameras
The Infinix GT 30 Pro features a 108MP main camera with an 8MP ultra-wide, and it comes with a 13MP selfie camera with dual flash, with AI features like AI eraser, AI cutout, and AI extender. The phone has support for 30W wireless charging, and there’s a bypass charging feature that reduces the battery temperature by 4.5 degrees by sending the power directly to the phone instead of the battery.

OS
The Infinix GT 30 Pro comes with the XOS 15, which is based on Android 15, and the phone has support for 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. Infinix claims that there won’t be ads on the phone, and there are a lot of AI features like call assistant, AI writing assistant, and circle to search, which seem to be good, and there’s support for Folax Assistant.

For the price, if you specifically need a gaming phone that can take decent photos and has a good display on board, the phone should be your first choice, since you get a good CPU with a good display, which seems good. With the pre-orders, you essentially get a lot of accessories with the phone, which would be good.
