Huawei Mate 70 Air has been launched by Huawei in China, with a thin design, after the phone’s first real-life images appeared on the internet. Starting with the display, Huawei’s Mate 70 Air has a 7-inch Quad-Curved OLED Display with 1.5K resolution and support for up to 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM Dimming for Better Eye Comfort. This display is protected by Kunlun Glass Protection.
Performance
Huawei Mate 70 Air is powered by Kirin 9020A / 9020B chipset, same as other Huawei Phones – it also uses a Kirin Chipset due to the US ban. This chipset is capable of smooth multitasking and power-efficient performance and is Ideal for Moderate gaming and heavy daily use.
Camera
Coming to cameras, Mate 70 Air has a Versatile quad-camera setup on the back, which consists of a 50MP main (1/1.3″) with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 12MP 3x telephoto (RYYB). The phone also comes with a Unique 1.5MP Red Maple Lens for enhancing colours. On the front is a 10.7MP Front Sensor, capable of clear selfies.
Battery
Mate 70 Air features a Large 6500mAh Si-Ci Battery. Even while having a slim frame, it supports up to 66W of wired fast charging and 5W of Reverse wireless charging.
Compared to iPhone 17 Air’s 3000mAh+, Galaxy S25 Edge’s 3900mAh, this doesn’t Sacrifice Battery for a Slim design.

Huawei’s Mate 70 Air runs on Huawei’s Own HarmonyOS 5.1, based on OpenHarmony. It has support for Satellite Communication.

Huawei Mate 70 Air has a Sleek 6.6mm ultra-slim body, and weighs only 208grams and is rated for IP69/68 for dust and water resistance. The Huawei Mate 70 Air also comes with an IR Blaster. This Design also has a Side-Mounted Fingerprint Scanner and a Type-C Port Rated for USB 2.0 Transfer Speeds.
